Cyber-security expert reveals best ways you can protect your privacy in modern world

When I see any article that contains “Cyber Security Expert Says” or similar I have a small heartsink moment because the article is usually a heavily edited version of what a true expert would actually say, usually to sensationalise whatever threat is in the headlines that day. This article (linked below) is from The Mirror which is a British tabloid newspaper with a reading age of between 7 and 9 years old. Amazingly, it actually does quite a good job of introducing topics like Deep Fakes. Maybe cyber security is a topic that most 7-9 year olds are comfortable with.

The summary advice is a good expression of ‘Privacy is Dead’…:

“My golden rule is if you wouldn’t want to see something on the front page of the national newspapers, then don’t share it online.”
