Spying concerns fuel the market for more secure tech – BBC News

I start with the assumption that everything I do online can be tracked. One of the reasons that ‘war rooms’ exist when dealing with sensitive commercial matters (I’ve used them for M&A activities and major bids) is to minimise the electronic trail and reduce the risk of leaks or revealing something under full disclosure conditions. Trusting a device isn’t the way to go…:

Nearly half of the people polled by Pew said they believed that most of their online activities are tracked by the government.
