TikTok hack replaces people’s videos with coronavirus conspiracy theories

The popular app uses unauthenticated http to carry data which means it’s relatively easy for a bad actor to insert whatever content they want. Note there’s no firm evidence of this actually occurring just yet but, in an age of arson on 5G towers fuelled by conspiracy theories, it’s always best to close down these avenues of attack…:
